So, all the Targets are sold out of the candles, and you can't get rain checks on them. Use the coupons you printed off earlie with the coupon in the Walgreens Easy Saver rebate Book (found in all Walgreens stores, usually in the carts or the baskets) to get the candles for free. Not as good as a Target money maker, but still nice.
Note: The Walgreens at 48th and O has told me they won't accept the Easy Saver coupons with manufacturer coupons. This is just their particular policy and doesn't apply to other Walgreens.

Bummer. Oh well, it was worth a try!
ReplyDeleteSUCCESS! As of 30 minutes ago, Walgreens at 27th & Vine had a couple (now out of apple), 27th & Pine Lake had some left (I forget what scents - there was one apple left when I finished them them & a few red candles), and the one on Old Cheney (around 35th-40th?) had none.
ReplyDeleteI forgot to mention - you'll have to get a little something to make the deal work since the coupons are worth more than the candle price (by 1 cent). I found a caramel candy at the checkout for 25 or 30 cents.
