1 ream of Staples paper for $1 or free

Staples is changing the packaging style of some of its paper and is giving a big rebate for the older style packages.

They cost $6.99. Then you send in the rebate form and get $5.99 back. I've heard they sometimes give you the form in the stores, or you can find it here. The SKU# is 554638. There is no limit on the number of rebates you get, so if you need paper this is a good time to stock up.

According to other bloggers, Staples accepts competitors coupons. If this is true, you can use this coupon for $10 off $50 at Home Depot, and actually make a profit from this deal.

Check to make sure your nearest store carries this paper before you go. Some stores are already out.

Dang it. I just tried to check and see if our nearest Staples had the paper, but it turns out the nearest Staples is in Omaha. Stink. I'm not going that far for paper. I hope someone takes advantage of this.
