I posted a similar comment to one of Anna's previous posts, but since not everyone reads the comments I thought I would post this now that I am an official contributor.
For those of you that don't know, SuperSaver Ad matches. I always make my list, take my ads with me, and start my weekly shopping at SuperSaver. Often times they have already put up ad match prices for the items I want, but if they haven't, I just show them the price in the competitor's Ad and they match it. (They do not match in-ad coupons - but they match all sale prices.) Sometimes the items I want are on sale at SuperSaver also, for 10-20 cents cheaper than the sale prices in the other stores. Occasionally, I never even have to visit the other stores and I get everything on my list in one trip to SuperSaver. But, if I have to visit the other stores it makes those trips more efficient and quicker.

Do they do this at the cash register, or do you have to get a manager involved?

ReplyDeleteThe ad match is done right at the cash register. I have been told that some cashiers at the 48th and O SuperSaver will tell you they can't do it (because they are lazy.) If someone tells you they can't, then I would ask for a manager. The last several times I've gone to SuperSaver, I have had no problem with it.
